KBS-2TV’s upcoming Saturday–Sunday miniseries 'Walking On Thin Ice' (written by Jeon Young Shin, directed by Song Hyun Wook) unveiled its main poster on August 8, capturing the intense tension between lead actors Lee Young Ae and Kim Young Kwang.
In the poster, the two characters lock eyes across a table scattered with a Boston bag, a bill counter, and bundles of cash. Kim Young Kwang reaches toward the bag while Lee Young Ae watches him closely, hinting at a high-stakes relationship.
'Walking On Thin Ice' is an action-thriller that follows the perilous alliance between Kang Eun Soo (Lee Young Ae), a devoted parent desperate to protect her family, and Lee Kyung (Kim Young Kwang), a teacher leading a double life.
Lee Young Ae plays Kang Eun Soo, an ordinary housewife whose greatest happiness comes from spending quiet days with her loved ones. Her life takes a sharp turn when unexpected misfortune pushes her to the edge.
Kim Young Kwang takes on the role of Lee Kyung, an after-school art instructor who moonlights as a club MD by night. His hidden side and dangerous secrets are set to add layers of suspense to the narrative.
“The drama begins with a fragile yet clandestine business arrangement between these two characters,” the production team commented. “Viewers will have to watch to see whether their partnership becomes a ‘good day’ worth remembering.”
The script is penned by Jeon Young Shin, known for 'Cheese in the Trap' and 'The Lies Within,' with direction by Song Hyun Wook, whose works include 'The King’s Affection,' 'The Beauty Inside,' and 'Another Miss Oh.'
'Walking On Thin Ice' premieres on September 20 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
