Netizens once again heatedly discuss a sasaeng fan getting hit by ENHYPEN's manager at the airport

Another instance of a K-Pop idol manager using physical violence to keep sasaeng fans away from the artist has triggered a debate online.

Recently, boy group ENHYPEN appeared at an airport in Japan following the conclusion of their schedules. While one member had his passport and flight information checked by an employee, a manager was seen going behind the idol to strike a sasaeng fan blocking the way.

Some netizens criticized the manager's behavior, calling his use of violence "unacceptable". They commented,

"Can someone please take these issues to court so these entertainment companies will finally get it in their heads that you can't just beat people like that."

"Even without the violence, isn't it illegal to threaten others with that kind of tone and attitude?"

"They would never lash out like that if it were a male fan."

"That's HYBE staff for you. They'll jump at the opportunity to beat young girls."

"No matter what they're doing, using violence is just unethical."

"Aren't those managers embarrassed? The fact that they're rotten human beings is being caught on camera."

"These managers think they're some big shots. In reality, you're just committing a crime."

Others also shook their heads toward the obsessive behavior of the sasaeng fans, commenting, "K-Pop idols need tighter security. Those crazy sasaengs will chase their oppas everywhere","Honestly K-Pop idols have to deal with so many crazy people following them", "If you don't want to get hit, don't invade the idol's privacy", etc.
