JTBC has unveiled the official poster for its upcoming weekend drama 'A Hundred Memories' (written by Yang Hee Seung and Kim Bo Ram, directed by Kim Sang Ho), starring Kim Da Mi, Shin Ye Eun, and Heo Nam Jun. The poster highlights the tender emotions of first love intertwined with friendship and destiny.
Set in the 1980s, 'A Hundred Memories' follows the luminous friendship between Yeong Rye (Kim Da Mi), a bus conductor on the No. 100 route, and Jong Hee (Shin Ye Eun). Their lives become connected with Jae Pil (Heo Nam Jun), a man who awakens bittersweet feelings of first love, leading to a heartfelt youth story of love, friendship, and fate.
The poster, designed to resemble an old film photograph, captures the nostalgia of a bygone era. It evokes moments that can never return but remain deeply cherished. The visual also emphasizes the complicated arrows of affection linking the three characters, hinting at a coming-of-age narrative filled with friendship, crossed emotions, and youthful longing.
The actors shared insights into their characters’ relationships.
Kim Da Mi explained, “For Yeong Rye, Jong Hee and Jae Pil are more than just a friend or a first love. They are soulmates connected at the deepest level.”
Shin Ye Eun said, “To Jong Hee, Yeong Rye was the only person in the world she could truly trust and the center of her life. In between them, Jae Pil becomes someone whose presence alone stirs her heart.”
Heo Nam Jun reflected, “Yeong Rye is the person who makes Jae Pil shine the brightest, while Jong Hee is the first girl he ever saw as something more than a friend. Their relationships are delicately intertwined.”
The production team noted, “Friendship and first love remain timeless themes that define youth. The drama will rekindle the emotions of the 1980s and bring back the memories of that era. We hope viewers will look forward to their story.”
'A Hundred Memories' will premiere on August 14 at 10:40 PM following the conclusion of 'Beyond the Bar.'
