IVE's Jang Won Young enlisted in the military and became "Unlucky Vicky."
On August 28, ootb STUDIO finally premiered the 97th episode of 'Jeongwaja' featuring Jang Won Young. In the video titled, 'IVE WONYOUNG's enlistment | Seokyeong University Military Science | Jeongwaja EP.97,' Jang Won Young joined Kai for ROTC training at Seokyeong University.
During the opening, Kai appeared in the suburbs of Anyang and asked the production team, "Are we doing farm activities today? Or what activities are we doing today?" to which the team replied, "Companion enlistment." Kai responded in shock, "What! You said it was a vacation! Who enlists during vacation?"
The production team continued to explain, "To be precise, it's not the military, it's a department. Seokyeon University Department of Military Science." Then the team introduced Kai's companion, who had actually volunteered to enlist. Jang Won Young appeared in a military uniform and explained she had wanted to experience the military and so she volunteered for the program.
Known for her positive, optimistic "Lucky Vicky" spirit, Jang Won Young once again shared her resolve to do well in the ROTC training. However, her spirit soon disappeared as she experienced the rigorous physical training.
Shouting "Combat training!" Jang Won Young ran and continued to go through drills, eventually reflecting on her choice by saying, "I'm sorry for asking us to come here." In particular, during a short break from training, she asks Kai, "Can you even catch a taxi here?" making him burst into laughter.
