With her wedding just about three months away, Girl's Day member Minah is stepping into a new role as the MC of a beauty and wellness program. This is the first time hosting a program of this genre. Expressing confidence in the show's unique approach, Minah shared, "We'll only share what's real."
The program 'Jin Seo Yeon's NO' premiered on August 26 on ENA. Marketed as a new beauty and lifestyle show, it positions itself against the flood of paid promotions and biased reviews in the industry. The show pledges to highlight only one trustworthy product each episode, emphasizing a strict "No sponsorships" policy. The program will choose the product through scientific analysis and rigorous vetting.
The show is fronted by actress Jin Seo Yeon, known for her sharp skepticism, alongside Minah and model Shin Hyun Ji.
For Minah, who will be marrying actor On Joo Wan in November, the project comes at a meaningful moment. She shared, "I’ve always been interested in beauty and wellness, but now I feel an even stronger desire to do well," expressing excitement for her first beauty show MC role.
Minah described herself as a relatable guide for viewers and said, "I’m probably the MC closest to the audience. I love beauty, but I’ve also made plenty of mistakes along the way. I want to share those struggles so viewers can connect with me. This show is for anyone curious about beauty and wellness, and we’ll only deliver the real deal."
Meanwhile, Minah and On Joo Wan, who first met while starring in the 2016 SBS drama 'Beautiful Gong Shim,' surprised fans earlier this month by announcing their upcoming wedding. The couple will tie the knot in November.
