Bada, a former member of the first-generation K-pop group S.E.S., has shared her first update since apologizing over a false advertising controversy.
On August 26, Bada took to her social media story, posting two photos with the captions: “I will return as a deeper sea” and “I love you, my fans.”
The controversy arose earlier this month when Bada appeared on a beauty YouTube program and introduced a cosmetic cream, claiming she had first seen it in Australia. However, it was later revealed that the product was not made in Australia and had already been involved in false and exaggerated advertising claims.
At the time, Bada issued an apology, saying, “Although it was a scripted comment, I cannot avoid responsibility since it was ultimately my words. I feel deeply ashamed that I failed to carefully review and judge the content before participating.”
Meanwhile, on August 5, Bada released her new album Love wave, marking her first comeback in about a year.
