According to Korean music platform Melon on July 8, the number of listeners for 'Thank U' surged by 56 times compared to early June.
Originally released in 2021 as the title track of Yunho’s second mini album 'Noir', the pop-dance song combines trumpet sounds with a catchy hook and bold, confident lyrics.

The song recently went viral after internet streamer Looksam posted a reaction video to the music video, which led to its spread across social media platforms.
The track’s quirky yet empowering lines like “lesson one: only you know what’s good” have sparked a wave of memes and parody content. One phrase, “what’s the fourth lesson?”, has become a running joke online.
The renewed attention prompted Music Bank to re-upload Yunho’s 2021 stage performance, which quickly surpassed 560,000 views. He also posted a Thank U challenge video with boy group Riize, garnering over 8.7 million views.
Yunho is also preparing for the July 16 premiere of Disney+ series 'Pine: The Bumpkins', in which he plays a tough but warm-hearted character from Mokpo.
