Taeyang held his first-ever solo fan meeting, 19 years after his debut, on July 26 (KST) at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Yongsan, Seoul. Titled '01', the event name was inspired by the Korean word for "eternity" and served to commemorate the time Taeyang has spent with his fans. Following the Seoul event, he is scheduled to continue the fan meeting tour in six cities across Japan.
Receiving a warm welcome from fans, Taeyang took the stage and expressed his gratitude for being able to finally hold a solo fan meeting. He was joined by content creator Mimiminu, who served as the MC and kicked off the event with a friendly exchange.
The fan meeting featured several interactive segments, allowing fans and Taeyang to reflect on memories together. These included a talk segment looking back on his past and present, a humorous look at some of his early appearances, and live performances of songs such as 'Die With A Smile' and a cover of 'The Reflection of Myself in My Heart'. At one point, Taeyang made his way to the second-floor balcony to engage directly with fans, creating a memorable experience.
Throughout the event, Taeyang performed songs that fans had long awaited, including 'Nightfall', 'WAKE ME UP', and 'Just A Feeling', delivering strong vocals and polished performances. The setlist also included 'VIBE', 'This Is Not', and 'I Need A Girl', during which he moved through the first-floor seating area to be closer to the audience. Performances of '1AM' and 'Superstar' further energized the crowd, and the fan-favorite 'Eyes, Nose, Lips' prompted a large-scale singalong that filled the venue.
Responding to the audience’s encore chants, Taeyang returned to perform 'RINGA LINGA', showcasing dynamic energy, and concluded the event with the ballad 'Seed', offering a more emotional ending to the two-and-a-half-hour show.
At the end, Taeyang shared a heartfelt message: “Thanks to your love, I’ve been able to stay healthy and active all this time, and finally hold this meaningful first fan meeting. I’m truly grateful to everyone who came today.”
Following the Seoul event, Taeyang will continue his fan meeting tour in Japan, with stops scheduled in Fukuoka on August 29, Hiroshima on August 30, Osaka on September 8 and 9, Shizuoka on October 25 and 26, Tokyo on November 13 and 14, and Miyagi on November 29 (local time).
