Seventeen’s DK will take the mound once again as the ceremonial first pitcher for the upcoming KBO League game between the Doosan Bears and the LG Twins on July 26 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
A long-time fan of the Doosan Bears and a self-proclaimed "Doosan kid," DK previously threw the opening pitch during the Bears’ 2023 season opener in hopes of bringing the team good luck. However, the game ended in a loss, and he was unable to live up to his "victory fairy" title at the time.
“I’m excited to be given another chance to pitch for Doosan,” DK shared. “Last time didn’t go as we hoped, but this time, I’ll make sure to be the victory fairy.”
Meanwhile, Seventeen is gearing up to launch their brand-new world tour, 'NEW_', with back-to-back shows at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on September 13 and 14.
