Girl group SAY MY NAME, now reformed as an 8-member act with the addition of new member Shuyi, is making a summer comeback with their first single "iLy" set for release on August 1.
According to the comeback timetable revealed on July 15, the group will begin rolling out comeback content starting July 21. Alongside the announcement, a short teaser clip titled “Waiting for iLy” featuring the members in a recording studio was released, raising anticipation for the group’s return.
SAY MY NAME last released their second EP “My Name Is…” in March. Just four months later, they are set to return with "iLy" on the first day of August—right at the peak of summer. As this marks their first release since becoming an 8-member group, fans can expect a fresh wave of musical color and more diverse charm unique to SAY MY NAME.
Meanwhile, pre-orders for the physical release of "iLy" began on July 15 via online music retailers. The digital version of the single will be available through major music platforms starting at 6 p.m. KST on August 1.
