Controversial figure Han Seo Hee is once again under fire after being exposed by netizens for allegedly spreading false rumors about several K-pop idols in open chat rooms.
An online user named Kang Nam Joo confronted Han directly, accusing her of fabricating and sharing baseless gossip about popular celebrities. One post on the popular online community, Nate Pann, summarized the situation and has been gaining traction.
The netizen who created the post explained that Kang Nam Joo has exposed Han Seo Hee for creating lies about various celebrities and spreading groundless rumors. The netizen explained, "For those who missed it, here are screenshots. Kang Nam Joo exposed everything, Han Seo Hee spreading rumors about celebrities, sharing personal details about herself, and even things related to her private life. Since the personal stuff is sensitive, I’ll just briefly explain what was revealed about the rumors she spread and the confrontation with Kang Nam Joo."
Translation: "Seo Hee, stop ranting on Telegram and speak for yourself. Say: 'Yes, I spread rumors about celebrities I've never even met or poured drinks for. But I never did prostitution. Kang Nam Joo couldn’t provide proof, after all. I have delusional liar syndrome like Ripley and I’m a high-end whore. I don’t spread my legs for 50 — it has to be at least 200.' Post that, and stop fking annoying people."
"And that’s not even the only case. She’s spread tons of other idol rumors. If you’re a K-pop fan, there’s no way you like her. She’s always bringing up male idols, saying she met so-and-so, that his personality sucks, or that someone else is hot. She talks about all that in those kinds of chatrooms, like the 'Godokbang' (Han Seo Hee’s open KakaoTalk chatroom) and elsewhere."
Kang Nam Joo also exposed that Han Seo Hee fabricated a delusional rumor claiming Karina from aespa didn’t recognize her, even though they were allegedly sitting next to each other. She criticized Han Seo Hee, saying, "Of course she doesn't recognize you because she doesn't even know you."
Not only that, it was revealed that Han Seo Hee made disrespectful remarks about the late Goo Hara, which is further fueling outrage. In an open chat conversation revealed by Kang Nam Joo, Han Seo Hee wrote, "A close celebrity unnie also did (plastic surgery on) her jaw three times, her cheekbones twice, nose three times, and her eyes twice." Following this message, Han Seo Hee names drops the late Goo Hara, saying, "Sorry, Hara."
Enraged by Han Seo Hee's incessant lying, Kang Nam Joo directly messaged Han Seo Hee, confronting her on her lies. The screenshots of the DMs between Han Seo Hee and Kang Nam Joo were shared. According to the conversation, Kang Nam Joo pressed Han Seo Hee in the message, asking her directly, "Did you or did you not spread rumors about BLACKPINK’s Jennie, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, and Hyunbin in the 'Godokbang' chatroom? Just answer yes or no."
Instead of giving a straight answer, Han Seo Hee continuously dodged the question, responding with vague and unrelated comments.
The public sentiment in Korea toward Han Seo Hee is continuing to plummet as more of her lies are brought to light. Many are becoming more dismissive of Han Seo Hee. Rather than expressing anger or outrage, some are expressing exhausted pity.
