KOSTCON 2025 is setting out to redefine the way fans experience Korean drama music. Marking the world’s first large-scale concert exclusively dedicated to K-drama original soundtracks (OSTs), the tour opens this Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Indonesia Arena in Jakarta, and continues across Asia with upcoming stops in Manila, Dubai, Bangkok, and Penang.
Billed as “the most dramatic concert in the world,” KOSTCON 2025 brings together seven of the most iconic voices behind Korea’s most beloved drama soundtracks. This unprecedented international event is designed not just as a celebration of music, but as an immersive storytelling experience that mirrors the emotional journey of K-dramas themselves.
At the heart of the tour is a star-studded lineup of artists who helped define the emotional depth of the K-OST genre. Lyn, widely regarded as the queen of OSTs, is best known for 'My Destiny' from My Love from the Star, along with hits like 'Back in Time' from Moon Embracing the Sun and 'With You' from Descendants of the Sun. Kim Bum Soo, a legendary balladeer with a career spanning more than 20 years, touched hearts with 'I Miss You' from Stairway to Heaven and 'Appear' from Secret Garden. K. Will, often dubbed the “Prince of OSTs,” brings his signature warmth and emotion to hits such as 'Talk Love' from Descendants of the Sun and 'Beautiful Moment' from The Beauty Inside.
The tour also features Soyu, whose post-SISTAR solo work includes notable OSTs like 'I Miss You' from Goblin and 'Puzzle' from Mr. Queen. Heize, a boundary-breaking singer-songwriter who rose from the indie and hip-hop scenes, adds her distinctive touch with emotionally rich tracks like 'Can You See My Heart' from Hotel Del Luna, 'Hold Me Back' from Queen of Tears, and 'You're Cold' from It's Okay to Not Be Okay. Rising talent Lee Mu Jin, who gained fame through Sing Again, contributes with newer favorites such as 'Sweet' from Business Proposal and 'Rest' from Castaway Diva, showcasing the evolving face of the OST landscape. Rounding out the lineup is CHEN, main vocalist of EXO, whose clear, expressive vocals shine in classics like 'Everytime' from Descendants of the Sun and 'Best Luck' from It’s Okay, That’s Love.
According to organizers Random Minds, in partnership with Hi-Five Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. and Kelebrity Worldwide Inc., the goal of KOSTCON 2025 is to bring OSTs from curated playlists into the global spotlight as a genre in their own right. “OSTs are not just background music,” said David Chin, CEO of Kelebrity Worldwide. “They are powerful tools that communicate the emotional heart of K-dramas. We want to elevate them beyond the screen and into the concert arena.”
The show unfolds in seven acts, each led by a different artist and inspired by familiar K-drama themes—first love, heartbreak, resilience, and reunion. Audiences can expect cinematic visuals, dramatic lighting, and high-definition drama clips projected on massive screens, with real-time translated lyrics to help fans follow each story. Though each concert will feature some local variations, the structure remains consistent across all tour locations, maintaining a seamless emotional arc.
Organizers emphasize that this is more than a musical showcase—it’s an immersive journey into the world of K-drama. “No one has ever transformed K-dramas into a concert like this,” said Chin. “Now is the perfect time.” Accessibility features and inclusive programming are also being prioritized to ensure fans from all backgrounds can enjoy the show.
With a world-class lineup and a compelling new vision for Korean soundtrack music, KOSTCON 2025 promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind live experience for K-drama fans across the globe. More cities are expected to be added as the tour expands throughout the year.
