ILLIT is scheduled to appear at a major Chinese music award show.
On July 25, ILLIT shared a poster for the 'TIMA International Music Awards (TMELive International Music Awards) on their Weibo account. 'TIMA' is a newly established awards show by Tencent Music Entertainment Group in China. It will be held on August 22–23 at the Galaxy Arena in Macau.
ILLIT will take the stage on the second day of the event, August 23. This marks the group's second consecutive year meeting local fans, following their appearance at last year’s Tencent Music Entertainment Awards (TMEA).
Their popularity in China is rising rapidly. Their debut track "Magnetic" topped QQ Music’s real-time chart and ranked No. 2 on the platform’s main 'Hot Songs' chart.
Their global success continues. With their 3rd mini album 'Bomb,' ILLIT entered the U.S. Billboard 200 at No. 171 (as of the July 17 chart), marking their third consecutive entry on the chart.
In Japan, 'Bomb' surpassed the group's previous first-week sales record on its release day. It ranked No. 2 on Oricon’s daily and weekly album charts.
Riding this momentum, ILLIT will make their official Japanese debut on September 1 with their first Japanese single “Toki Yo Tomare” (時よ止まれ). The group is also preparing for fan concerts. They will hold the '2025 ILLIT Glitter Day' concert on August 10–11 in Yokohama and on September 3–4 in Osaka.
Meanwhile, ILLIT will perform their follow-up track “Jellyous” on the July 25 episode of KBS2’s 'Music Bank.'
