Tak Jae Hoon expressed his concern for Koyote's Shinji following her marriage announcement, and jokingly said, "I hope the announcement was just a hoax."
On the July 15 episode of the SBS variety show 'Dolsing Fourmen,' guests Kim Young Ok, Jeon Won Ju, Shinji, and Kim Ji Min shared various stories about love and marriage.
During the broadcast, Shinji talked about her relationship with singer Moon Won, who is seven years younger than her. The two are set to marry next year. Public interest and concern were sparked after it was revealed that Moon Won had previously been divorced.
Shinji explained that she met Moon Won when he appeared as a guest on a radio show she was hosting. At the time, she had just released her solo song "Longtime Love," and Moon Won sent her a direct message asking if he could do a cover of the song. Shin Ji recalled, “I was so thankful.” She shared that she had treated all her juniors who had covered her song and met with Moon Won as well.
She revealed that their relationship evolved to a romantic one when Moon Won helped her during difficult times. She explained, "There was a time I suffered from a stalker. The stalker came to my house. It was so bad to the point the police had to come." She elaborated, "He found out and took care of everything."
Tak Jae Hoon asked, "Did he propose to you officially?" to which Shinji revealed no. Tak Jae Hoon responded, "What? Did you decide to get married by yourself?" Shinji replied and said she naturally decided to marry Moon Won. She shared, “I just had this feeling that I was going to marry this person, and things started to fall into place.” She added, “He was the one who first brought up marriage, but he hasn’t officially proposed yet. Honestly, I don’t even need a proposal.”
Actress Kim Young Ok expressed disbelief and chimed in, "But you guys already took wedding photos!" and Tak Jae Hoon added, "Then the wedding photos could just be a pictorial for an ad." When Tak Jae Hoon continued to show skepticism, Shin Ji asked, “What do you want to hear from me?” to which he replied, “I want to hear that it was just a hoax. That everything was a misunderstanding.” Shin Ji then said, “Kim Jong Min said the exact same thing,” making the cast laugh.
Shinji shared that Kim Jong Min had told Moon Won, “Just always let Shinji win. Always adjust to her,” which the cast found hilariously realistic advice likely drawn from personal experience.
As for moments when she feels butterflies around Moon Won, Shinji picked “when he cooks for me.” She said, “It’s delicious, and he keeps cooking. He even does all the dishes. He makes it so I don’t have to lift a finger,” highlighting his sweet and considerate nature. She affectionately added, “Even though he’s younger, he feels like an older oppa.” She also expressed her affection for how he cooks well and prepares hearty breakfasts.
Meanwhile, regarding the personal rumors that surfaced after the couple’s marriage announcement, Shinji stated, “My agency and I looked into the concerns and allegations that were raised, and we confirmed that none of them were true.” She continued, “I understand all the concerns and the attention that people have shown. I will reflect and be more cautious moving forward.”
