SHINee’s Minho gave fans a glimpse into his stunning new home, worth approximately 5 billion KRW (around 3.6 million USD), which he purchased from actor Ha Jung Woo.
On the July 11 broadcast of MBC’s variety show 'I Live Alone,' viewers were invited into Minho’s daily life, including a tour of his luxurious apartment. The breathtaking view of the Han River from his living room's floor-to-ceiling windows especially caught the attention of the audience.
Minho shared, “I love summer, and the moment I saw this house, I immediately thought, ‘This will be my first home.’ I’ve never prioritized the view before, but as soon as I saw it, I knew this was the one.”
He explained that he paid the most attention to the color scheme when decorating the interior. “I just wanted the house to feel comfortable. I wondered what colors would create that feeling, and I landed on gray, which gives a sense of stability. So I went with a gray and wood tone. I even custom-made my own bed. It’s a house I designed just the way I wanted,” he said, expressing his deep affection for the home.
Minho’s Han River-view residence is located in ‘Tierra House,’ a luxury apartment complex in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The spacious unit spans 244.91㎡ (approximately 74 pyeong) and features five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a dressing room. With only 15 households in the entire complex and just one unit per floor, it offers high privacy and security. Its prime location on the southern end of the Hannam Bridge provides a panoramic river view, making it highly desirable.
The property drew even more attention for being previously owned by actor Ha Jung Woo. He reportedly lived there for about 10 years, from 2013 to 2023, before selling it to Minho in May 2023. The official ownership transfer was completed in August last year. Ha Jung Woo has since relocated to the ‘Upper House Namsan’ in Yongsan, Seoul.
Minho and Ha Jung Woo first connected through the 2023 TVING original variety show 'Bros on Foot,' which followed Ha Jung Woo, Ju Ji Hoon, Choi Minho, and Yeo Jin Goo as they tackled various missions together in New Zealand.
In addition to the apartment he sold to Minho, Ha Jung Woo is known to own several commercial properties in locations such as Sokcho (Gangwon Province), Jongno, Songpa, and Seodaemun in Seoul.
