Disney+ has released the teaser poster and trailer for its upcoming original series 'Tempest,' offering a thrilling preview of a fresh take on the spy melodrama genre.
'Tempest' follows Moon Ju, played by Jun Ji Hyun, a globally respected UN ambassador who begins to investigate the truth behind a shocking assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. She is joined by San Ho, portrayed by Kang Dong Won, a mysterious special agent with no known nationality whose mission is to protect her. Together, they are drawn into a dangerous conspiracy that threatens peace on the Korean Peninsula.

The symbolism leaves viewers questioning whether the light represents hope and guidance or a looming threat. As Moon Ju makes the bold decision to run for president in order to expose the truth, San Ho commits himself to her protection, even at the cost of his own safety.
