Jennie of BLACKPINK, recently crowned with the Billboard’s No.1 K-pop song of 2025, graced the August special edition cover of Elle Korea. The photoshoot captured her effortlessly charming everyday moments as a Chanel ambassador, wearing pieces from the 2025 Fall/Winter ready-to-wear pre-collection.
Reflecting on her current life, Jennie shared,
“My favorite moment is simply waking up late at home, rested, and opening the window to look at the sky. It’s a peaceful and warm moment I treasure.”

Now promoting both her solo track “JENNIE” and the group’s comeback single “JUMP”, Jennie spoke on how her solo journey helped her grow:
“While working on Ruby, I pushed myself through trial and error. I became stronger, and so did the other members through their individual journeys. We’ve reunited as a more mature and understanding team.”
Addressing her viral track “like JENNIE”, she noted,
“In this song, ‘JENNIE’ is just a symbol. Anyone who sings it should feel empowered and love themselves in their own way. I made it hoping it would give confidence—not just to others, but to myself too.”
Jennie’s “like JENNIE” was recently ranked No.1 on Billboard’s The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025 (So Far). The outlet praised the track as
“a 2-minute powerhouse that flips every negative narrative and solidifies Jennie’s status as the next It-Girl, featuring the boldest rap of her career.”
Furthermore, the song hit No.83 on the Billboard Hot 100, stayed for 11 weeks on Pop Airplay, and outperformed her English track Mantra on U.S. Top 40 radio—demonstrating rare dominance by a Korean-language track. Spotify’s Global Impact List for the first half of 2025 also ranked Jennie No.1, with “like JENNIE” among nine of her songs featured.
