The controversy surrounding broadcaster Park Na Rae continues to grow, now affecting the people around her. Park has been accused of receiving illegal medical treatments such as IV drips, sleeping pills, and antidepressants from an unlicensed practitioner known as “Injection Auntie” A. As speculation increased, musician and composer Jung Jae Hyung officially denied having any connection to A.
On December 10, Jung’s agency Antenna stated, “We are releasing an official position in order to correct misinformation that is spreading. To prevent further misunderstanding regarding the variety show episode at the center of the controversy, we clearly state that Jung Jae Hyung has no relation to the matter. He does not have a personal connection or even an acquaintance with A, also known as Injection Auntie.”
Park Na Rae recently came under fire after suspicions emerged that she had received unlicensed medical treatment from A at an officetel. The allegations included receiving IV infusions and prescription-level medications.
Park’s representatives responded by saying, “Because of her busy filming schedule, she simply requested a house call from her usual doctor and nurse in order to receive an IV,” and added that Park believed A “was a licensed doctor.” The Korean Medical Association rejected this explanation and urged authorities to begin an investigation, calling the situation clearly illegal.

As scrutiny intensified, MBC’s program 'I Live Alone' changed a related video on its official YouTube channel to private. The clip was from the episode that aired on December 13, 2024. In the episode, Park and Jung Jae Hyung were shown making kimchi together from morning until evening. During filming, Jung commented, “Book me an IV for tomorrow as well,” and Park replied, “Sure, brother. I will schedule it for both of us.” Because viewers linked this conversation to the ongoing allegations, MBC quickly hid the video. However, the clip continued to circulate, and Jung’s team eventually released a formal statement.
Past mentions of Park receiving IV drips are also being revisited. Actor Lee Si Uhn said on his YouTube channel, “I watched 'I Live Alone' yesterday, and I saw IV marks on Park Na Rae’s arm. I heard she has been under a lot of stress and is feeling exhausted.”
Comments made by webtoon artist Kian84 at the '2019 MBC Entertainment Awards' also resurfaced. While accepting the Best Couple Award with Park Na Rae, he said, “Park Na Rae went to get an IV twice during filming. Jun Hyun Moo also received IV drips while shooting.” It has not been confirmed whether any of these IVs were connected to A.

A’s social media activity has fueled additional speculation. A showed photos taken inside SHINee Key’s home, which featured his dog and suggested a friendly relationship. This caused fans to demand clarification on Key’s social media accounts. A signed CD, believed to have been left for A by SHINee's Onew, added to the growing list of questions.
A complaint was filed through the National Police Agency’s public petition system, accusing Park Na Rae and A of violating multiple laws, including the Controlled Substances Act, the Medical Service Act, and the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act.
Former Korean Medical Association president Lim Hyun Taek separately filed a complaint against A for medical law violations. The KMA also issued a statement saying the case represents a serious threat to public health due to violations of medical and pharmaceutical law. The Ministry of Health and Welfare stated that it is considering an administrative investigation.
