In particular, many noted that instead of his previously sharp and androgynous image, he now gives off a softer and fuller impression overall.
As a result, some netizens reacted with comments such as “Is that really Taemin?”, “His vibe has completely changed,”, “His nose looks different,”, and “I can’t tell if he gained a bit of weight or if it’s due to procedures or makeup,” offering various speculations. Taemin has long been loved for his distinctive, androgynous visuals since his debut. Some also suggest that a combination of new hairstyles, makeup, and possible weight changes may have contributed to his current look.
Meanwhile, Taemin recently released his first English digital single, "Long Way Home", marking the start of his global activities. The song is a pop R&B ballad that blends a lingering melody with Taemin’s signature dreamy vocals, drawing attention as a new challenge aimed at the global market.
Having recently moved to Galaxy Corporation, Taemin is also set to perform at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 11th and 18th. He is expected to make history as the first Korean male solo artist to take the Coachella stage.
