According to SM Entertainment on the 28th, aespa has once again demonstrated its star power by sweeping various global charts in the first half of 2025, following their success last year.
aespa solidified their status as a true "global hitmaker" by setting new records on the Korean chart of Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME)—China’s largest music platform. They achieved the most chart entries (534 times) and the most No. 1 placements (20 times) on TME's recently released "2025 Mid-Year Summary Chart."
In addition, aespa was named in the “Best Group” category of the chart. Their October 2024 release “Whiplash” also stood out among strong contenders by securing a spot in the prestigious HOT TOP10, continuing their streak of impressive chart performances.
aespa’s latest single “Dirty Work” also topped five different QQ Music charts—including digital album sales, trend peak, soaring charts, music index, and overall music video rankings. The song earned a “Double Platinum” certification and topped the digital album sales chart on Kugou Music, further proving their immense popularity in the Chinese market.
Meanwhile, aespa is scheduled to participate in "KCON LA 2025," which will be held from August 1 to 3 at the Crypto.com Arena and LA Convention Center in Los Angeles.
