TOMORROW X TOGETHER has unveiled a cinematic concept trailer for their upcoming fourth full-length album, ‘The tale of the star: TOGETHER’, signaling the beginning of a new chapter in their fictional universe.
The trailer was released at midnight KST on June 29 through HYBE LABELS’ official YouTube channel. Visually rich and emotionally charged, the video explores themes of disconnection, pain, and ultimately, healing through unity.
The story begins in a dystopian setting, where a secret party unfolds in defiance of a surveillance-heavy society. While the crowd dances freely, the five members remain emotionally estranged. The party is suddenly raided by authorities, shattering the moment of joy and plunging the group into fear and confusion.
Each member’s inner turmoil is expressed through fantastical visuals: elf ears, horns, thorns, heterochromatic eyes, and wings. These symbolic elements highlight their emotional scars and hint at a world beyond the physical—one shaped by their thoughts and feelings.
A pivotal moment arrives when Soobin is seen floating alone in midair. Taehyun, using a supernatural inner sight, locates him. The members rush to his aid: Yeonjun breaks off one of his horns to slash through darkness, Beomgyu heals Hueningkai, and together they save Soobin. The final embrace symbolizes the group’s emotional reunion and renewed connection.
The trailer also features callbacks to earlier TXT works. The floating paper crown references ‘minisode 3: TOMORROW’, while the visual motif of stars harks back to ‘Nap of a star’, weaving the new storyline into their ongoing narrative universe.
The background music, a preview track from the upcoming album, evolves from a gentle acoustic guitar intro to a full-band crescendo. The lyrics emphasize the themes of empathy and connection: “Following the voice of the stars, we sing together,” “Lyrics that remember each other for eternity,” and “My name, your name, our name.”
‘The tale of the star: TOGETHER’ is scheduled for release on July 21. The album explores the idea of salvation through calling each other’s names—a metaphor for mutual understanding and emotional healing. It marks TXT’s next thematic phase, expanding on their established storyline with deeper emotional resonance and visual storytelling.
