tvN has officially unveiled the poster and teaser videos for its highly anticipated weekend drama 'Law and The City,' set to premiere on Saturday, July 5 at 9:20 PM KST.
The new drama, written by Lee Seung Hyun and directed by Park Seung Woo, is a production by CJ ENM Studio Center and Chorokbaem Media. It follows the everyday lives of five associate lawyers navigating the complexities of work and life in Seoul’s bustling Seocho-dong legal district.
The newly released teaser videos capture the realistic morning and evening routines of the five central characters as they head to and from the Heongmin Building, a fictional office complex that houses multiple law firms. From hurried elevator rides with coffee in hand to leisurely commutes and shared rooftop lunches, the clips portray relatable moments that office workers everywhere will recognize.
Ryu Hye Young plays Bae Moon Jung, a lawyer rushing through her morning, while Kang You Seok’s Jo Chang Won and Lim Seong Jae’s Ha Sang Ki start their day with calm and confidence. Lee Jong Suk stars as Ahn Joo Hyung, the most experienced of the group, who arrives early to manage a heavy workload with professionalism. Meanwhile, Moon Ga Young’s character Kang Hee Ji, a first-year associate, focuses on her morning tasks with dedication and caffeine in hand.
The teasers also highlight the group’s rooftop lunch discussions, with all five characters gathering to debate the ever-important question: “What should we eat?” As the day ends, viewers get a glimpse of their after-work routine, where the stack of empty coffee cups hints at their long day, and a cheerful invitation to grab a beer together wraps up their shared experience.
Accompanying the teasers is a new poster featuring the five lawyers walking confidently through Seocho-dong’s legal hub. Surrounded by law offices and courts, their determined expressions and brisk strides reflect their commitment to their roles. The tagline, “We head to Seocho-dong every day,” reinforces the central theme of the drama: the daily grind, resilience, and camaraderie of young professionals in the legal field.
'Law and The City' promises to depict the laughter, struggles, and personal growth of five associate lawyers as they juggle professional responsibilities and personal lives. With a strong cast and realistic setting, the drama is poised to resonate with a wide audience when it premieres on July 5 on tvN.
