Park Bo Young’s overseas fan meeting tour has been temporarily postponed due to internal circumstances.
Agency's statement
On June 2, her agency, BH Entertainment, released an official statement, saying, “We sincerely regret and apologize to inform you of the postponement of the overseas fan meetings, which had been prepared with much attention and anticipation from our fans.”
They added, “We deeply apologize to everyone who had been looking forward to and waiting for the performances. We will do our best to return with an even better experience.”
Accordingly, tickets that had already sold out will be fully refunded.
Park Bo Young is still scheduled to hold her fan meeting titled 2025 Park Bo Young Fan Meeting 'written BY' on June 7 at 2 PM and 7 PM at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
This fan meeting has garnered significant attention, as it marks her first such event in seven years since 2019. After the Seoul event, Park Bo Young had confirmed overseas fan meetings in Hong Kong and Macau on June 29, Bangkok on July 5, and Taiwan on July 27. However, the sudden cancellation of these overseas stops surprised many fans.
Given Park Bo Young’s well-known love for her fans, the unclear reason behind the cancellation has left many fans disappointed. Some commented, “Shouldn’t they clearly explain why it had to be postponed?”, “I already booked my hotel and flight - what is this?”, “I’ve been looking forward to this since April, this sudden cancellation is so upsetting,” and “Meeting overseas fans isn’t easy; I hope they clearly share the updated schedule soon.”
Park Bo Young is currently appearing in the tvN drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul.'
