Liz, a member of IVE, will be making her debut as a ceremonial first pitcher at the upcoming LG Twins home game on June 29 at Jamsil baseball stadium.
The LG Twins are set to host a three-game series against the Kia Tigers from June 27 to 29, with Liz taking the mound for the ceremonial first pitch during the final game of the series.
"I’m truly honored and thrilled to be throwing my first pitch with the LG Twins,” Liz shared. “Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity.” She added, “I’m very excited and nervous at the same time. I’ll give it my all and throw with a heart full of support. Let’s go, LG Twins!”
While Liz previously participated in a mock pitch and bat segment with fellow IVE member Yujin on JTBC’s variety show 'A Clean Sweep' in February, this will mark her first official ceremonial pitch at a professional baseball game.
In addition to Liz’s appearance, the day will feature special programs in celebration of 'Return of Invincible Maru Day,' a collaboration event with popular Naver Webtoon characters, promising fans a variety of fun-filled activities.
Meanwhile, IVE continues to connect with fans through their reality series '1.2.3 IVE Season 6,' which airs every Friday at 7:30 PM KST.
