Model-turned-entertainer Hong Jin Kyung shows off her hilarious chemistry with Korea’s beloved MC, Yoo Jae Suk.
On June 10, SBS released a preview video of “Whenever There’s a Chance” titled “What happens when you walk with national MC Jae Suk?? He even gets rid of sidewalk bumps and matches bus steps, lol.” In this episode, Hong Jin Kyung and actor Lee Dong Hwi join as “timing friends,” bringing unexpected laughs and small moments of fortune while exploring the Seongbuk-dong area.
On a drizzly day, the four cast members were seen walking together under umbrellas. Yoo Jae Suk asked Hong Jin Kyung, “Are you cold? Should I take off my jacket for you?” But when she replied she was fine, he quickly said, “Okay, got it,” making everyone laugh with his instant retreat.
Hong Jin Kyung, puzzled, asked, “Then why ask at all? What’s the point if you’re just going to say ‘got it’ right away?” Yoo Jae Suk, flustered, responded, “Didn’t you say no?” He then playfully pretended to take off his jacket again, causing another round of laughter.
When Hong Jin Kyung declined once more, Yoo Jae Suk didn’t hesitate a second before slipping his jacket back on, drawing big laughs from the group. Watching this, Hong Jin Kyung said, “If you really look closely, he’s the worst. His image is just too polished,” teasingly throwing light-hearted shade at the national MC.
