G-Dragon has officially addressed the dating rumors involving TWICE’s Sana.
On June 2, his agency Galaxy Corporation released an official statement, saying, “We would like to clarify certain misunderstandings regarding the recent rumors about G-Dragon’s romantic relationship.”
The rumors began after G-Dragon attended Coldplay’s concert at Goyang Sports Complex on April 22. Following the event, he posted a photo on social media that included a tag of Sana—who had appeared on stage as a special guest with TWICE. The post was later deleted, further fueling speculation online.
The agency clarified, “G-Dragon participated in the filming of the YouTube web variety show 'Dex and Sana’s Fridge Interview' on April 14,” adding, “The tag was merely a friendly gesture following the shoot.” They emphasized that aside from their appearance on the show, there has been no further contact or personal relationship between the two.
Regarding the delayed response to the rumors, the agency explained, “Since the episode hadn’t been announced yet, we couldn’t immediately deny the rumors due to concerns about spoiling the show.”
G-Dragon’s appearance on 'Fridge Interview' will air on YouTube on June 5 at 7 p.m. KST. A preview clip featuring Dex and Sana as co-hosts was pre-released on May 30, generating buzz.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon is currently in the midst of his 2025 world tour 'Übermensch'. Since debuting with Big Bang in 2006, he has maintained a strong presence as a solo artist.
Sana debuted with TWICE in 2015 and has released numerous hit songs. She is also active in the group’s Japanese subunit MISAMO. TWICE is set to release their fourth full-length album in July.
