Actor Lee Jung Ha, who recently starred in the Wavve original series ‘ONE: High School Heroes’, sat down with SPOTV News on the afternoon of June 11 at the Wavve headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, to discuss the project and more.
During the interview, Lee was asked about the production of season 2 of his breakout series ‘Moving’. Previously, actress Go Youn Jung, who co-starred with him in ‘Moving’, made a surprise cameo as a suspect being questioned by police in a post-credits scene from Kang Full’s ‘Lighting Store’, raising speculation about a possible shared universe.
Lee shared, “I asked Kang Full, ‘Heesoo (Go Younjung’s character) gets to go to the police station, so why can’t I go too? Can’t we go together?’ But he said, ‘Bongseok is too busy saving the world, so he can’t go.’ When I asked the writer about season 2, he simply said, ‘Jungha, season 2’s action will be much bigger and more exciting than season 1.’”
He added, “I think Bongseok might appear in season 2 as well. Since the writer is still working on it, I’m not sure yet,” expressing hope for his return.
‘ONE: High School Heroes’ is a high school action drama that follows Ui Gyeom (played by Lee Jungha), a top student oppressed by his father, and Yun Ki (played by Kim Dowan), who seeks to exploit Ui Gyeom’s natural fighting talent. Together, they form the masked group ‘High School Heroes’ to unleash their suppressed rage and overthrow the school violence hierarchy. The final two episodes will be released on June 13.
