On May 23 KST, SHINee successfully opened day 1 of their 3-day 'SHINee World VII [E.S.S.A.Y]' solo concert at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.
On this day, the group unveiled the 2 new songs from their upcoming single album 'Poet | Artist' for the first time. First, the group performed the title track, "Poet | Artist", composed and written by member Jonghyun and also featuring his voice. Many fans were moved to tears after hearing Jonghyun's voice again for the first time in years, and the members explained on this day that the song was recreated from a guide version recorded by Jonghyun.
Next, SHINee also performed the b-side track "Starlight", a sentimental dance pop genre bringing out the group's signature vocal charms.
Meanwhile, 'SHINee World VII [E.S.S.A.Y] continues from May 24-25. Their new single album 'Poet | Artist' is set for release worldwide on May 25 at 12 PM KST.
