BLACKPINK's Jisoo recently became embroiled in a new controversy after her older brother was accused of illegally filming sexual activity without consent.
The controversy surrounding Jisoo's brother began on May 29, when an anonymous online user posted a lengthy message on the employee community platform Blind, claiming the idol's brother had filmed her.
The anonymous poster wrote, "It took me a long time to write this. Everything I’m about to share is based on my own experience." She claimed, "One day, I had a sexual relationship with him at his home. I later found out that he had recorded the act using a hidden camera. I couldn’t believe it. What made it worse was learning that he had shown the video to his acquaintances and even bragged about having multiple recordings of different women."
Following the revelation, Jisoo's brother immediately denied the accusations and stated, "The allegations are completely false. I plan to take legal action and am currently in discussion with a law firm.”
Although Jisoo's brother denied the allegations, Korean netizens were still shocked by the latest controversy. Many quickly jumped on the bandwagon of criticism and began leaving harsh comments on the articles. They commented:
