On May 29, BLACKPINK member Jisoo's older brother, Mr. Kim, responded to recent accusations posted on the anonymous community app Blind, denying claims of illegal filming and distribution.
Speaking briefly to Ilgan Sports, he stated, “The allegations are completely false. I plan to take legal action and am currently in discussion with a law firm.”

The original post was written by an anonymous individual who claimed to have had a sexual relationship with Mr. Kim, during which she later discovered she had been secretly filmed without consent.
The writer further alleged that Kim showed the footage to his acquaintances and that she had heard he possessed similar illegal recordings involving other women. She noted that she is currently considering legal action.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo officially parted ways with YG Entertainment in 2023. She now operates as both the CEO and artist of her independent label, Blissoo. She is set to return this summer with a new album and take part in BLACKPINK’s upcoming world tour.
