Celebrity couple Jo Jung Suk and Gummy were recently seen enjoying a concert date, attracting attention for their continued public displays of affection and strong celebrity friendships.
On May 16, Daesung’s official YouTube channel ‘ZIP DAESUNG’ released a video titled “First Solo Concert in 19 Years, Family Outing 2025 ver.” The video gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at Daesung’s solo concert held on April 26–27 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park, marking his first solo performance in 19 years.
The footage showcased Daesung’s professional charm during sound check, where he playfully blushed as fans sang him a birthday song, but quickly immersed himself in the mood, delivering vocals with his signature emotion. In his dressing room, the production team surprised him with a birthday celebration. Though initially embarrassed, Daesung couldn’t hide his happiness, saying, “Why did you prepare something like this?”
The video also highlighted moments from both concert nights. The first night featured a visit from actress Ahn So Hee, while the second night saw a star-studded audience including Beenzino, Go Kyung Pyo, Joo Won, Sandara Park, Heo Youngji, and Hyojung of Oh My Girl. Among them, the appearance of Gummy and Jo Jung Suk as a couple especially stood out, drawing enthusiastic responses from fans.
When asked about the audience’s reaction to the first night, Daesung shared, “It was so much fun. I was unsure if the audience would follow the fan chants, but they had prepared so well. It felt like we were creating the performance together. That’s what makes it rewarding. It makes me want to keep performing. The back-and-forth felt right, and I felt truly happy while singing. I think today’s show might be even better in terms of energy.”
The event was a heartwarming reunion not only between Daesung and his fans but also among long-time industry friends—proving once again that even after years away from the solo spotlight, Daesung still has the star power to bring people together.
