Chanyeol of EXO and JYP Entertainment's rookie boy group KickFlip are set to take part in a major international music festival.
The two K-pop acts are set to perform at 'Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025' from August 23-24 at Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
'Summer Sonic' is a globally renowned urban music festival that features numerous world-class artists. The event will first be held in Tokyo and Osaka from August 16–17, followed by its Bangkok edition.
Meanwhile, Chanyeol has been actively promoting his solo music. He kicked off his live tour in Seoul last September and performed in 11 cities across Asia. He also successfully concluded his tour with an encore tour in December 2024.
EXO also commemorated their 13th debut anniversary with a special live broadcast titled ‘EXO: 13IRTHDAY HOME PARTY’ on April 8. The event, streamed on YouTube, TikTok, and Weverse, lasted approximately two hours. Members Suho, D.O., Chanyeol, and Kai attended the event and spent quality time with fans.
KickFlip has quickly emerged as a rookie to watch in 2025. The group debuted on January 20 with 'Flip It, Kick It!,' leaving a strong impression with their title track "Mama Said."
In just half a year since their debut, they’re already landing spots on major festival stages. Before Summer Sonic, KickFlip is also scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago, taking place from July 31 to August 3.
