Following Park Bo Gum, actress Kim So Hyun made a surprise appearance as a one-day weathercaster on 'JTBC Newsroom' on May 27th KST.
Dressed in a sleek black dress, Kim opened her segment by saying, “It really feels like summer is just around the corner, doesn’t it? I’ll be appearing as Ji Han Na, a former gold medalist in shooting turned elite police officer, in the new JTBC drama Good Boy, premiering this Saturday. Just like a bullet hits the bullseye, I’ll deliver the weather with pinpoint accuracy today.”
She went on to present the forecast, saying, “Tomorrow will continue to feel like early summer. In Seoul, the daytime high will reach 26°C, making the afternoon quite warm. Morning and evening temperatures will stay around 15°C, with large temperature swings throughout the day. Especially in the central and southern regions, the intense sunshine during the day will make it feel even hotter.”
She added, “Showers are expected in parts of Gyeonggi, Gangwon, North Chungcheong, and southern inland areas during the afternoon, with the possibility of thunderstorms and even hail. Air quality in the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungnam will remain poor throughout the day. Morning lows will be around 16°C in Seoul and 15°C in Daegu, slightly warmer than today. Daytime highs will rise to 28°C in Daejeon and Gwangju.”
Kim concluded her forecast with a thoughtful message: “The hot weather will continue throughout the week. Please take good care of your health and stay cool. That’s the weather.”
This special appearance is part of a unique promotional campaign for the upcoming JTBC weekend drama 'Good Boy', which premieres on May 31st. Cast members Park Bo Gum, Kim So Hyun, and Lee Sang Yi are each taking turns as guest weathercasters on Newsroom, adding a fun twist to the drama’s promotions.
