Son Suk Ku expressed his concerns about dieting for his next project, having to lose 10 kg (22 lbs).
On the May 27 episode of SBS’s 'Whenever Possible,' actors Son Suk Ku and Kim Da Mi appeared as guests.
Rookie to variety shows, Kim Da Mi showed her nerves as soon as she appeared, saying, “There are so many cameras.” Son Suk Ku added, “It feels like a press conference,” to which Yoo Jae Suk smiled and replied, “This isn’t even that many.”
Making her TV variety debut, Kim Da Mi explained, “The reason I haven’t done variety shows before is because I feel awkward.” Still, she shared with a laugh, “But I did sleep well last night.”
Yoo Jae Suk touched Son Suk Ku’s body and exclaimed, “You’re really fit. Your chest is so buff!” Son joked, “That’s actually my shoulder,” drawing laughter.
Son Suk Ku then confessed, “I need to go on a diet. The director of my next project suggested I lose a lot of weight. I agree it might be a good idea, so my goal is to lose 10 kg, but I’ve never done it before, so I’m worried.”
Yoo Yeon Seok, who has dieted in the past, advised cutting carbs, saying, “I mostly eat seafood and avoid rice.” Son Suk Ku, who enjoys eating, asked with a pout, “Not even brown rice?” making everyone laugh.
Son Suk Ku admitted, “When I’m on set, I just want to go home quickly. I started wondering, ‘Have I lost my passion?’ After shooting one scene, I just want to go home.”
Kim Da Mi shared her own hesitation, saying, “I wanted to go home from the moment I started getting my makeup done today.” In contrast, Son Suk Ku responded, “I actually felt excited when I was getting the makeup.”
Regarding her relationship with Son Suk Ku, Kim Da Mi said, “We became close even before filming started.” Son Suk Ku, also agreed and explained, "I think we became close because we are the two characters who lead the plot."
