Taeyeon’s solo concert in Japan has been canceled.
On April 17, SM Entertainment announced through Taeyeon’s official Japanese website that her solo 10th anniversary concert 'The ODD of TENSE,' which was scheduled to be held on April 19–20 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, has been canceled.
SM Entertainment explained, “The equipment used for the Asia tour is currently being transported to Japan, but it has not yet arrived, and it is extremely difficult to prepare sufficiently for the concert under these circumstances.”
They added, “Despite repeated discussions with the relevant parties and exploring every possible option, we ultimately concluded that it would be difficult to go ahead with the concert. We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience caused to those who have been waiting for the performances.”
They also noted, “We are currently considering the possibility of a rescheduled concert. Further details and updates will be announced as soon as decisions are made.”
Taeyeon began her Asia tour on March 7–9 in Seoul and has since performed in Taipei, Manila, and Jakarta. She was scheduled to continue the tour in Japan, Macau, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
