Red Velvet's Wendy reportedly joining fromis_9's new agency, ASND

According to an exclusive media outlet report on April 25 KST, Red Velvet's Wendy has signed an exclusive contract with the start-up label ASND. 

Earlier on this day, ASND teased the announcement of a new artist on SNS.

Wendy, who parted ways with SM Entertainment earlier this month on April 4 KST, will be taking on new opportunities as a solo artist at ASND while continuing her activities as a member of Red Velvet. 

Meanwhile, ASND is currently home to fromis_9 members Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Chaeyoung, Lee Nagyung, and Baek Jiheon. 

[UPDATE] ASND has officially confirmed, "Red Velvet's Wendy has signed an exclusive contract with ASND. We are excited to welcome this multi-talented artist. We also intend on fully supporting Wendy's group activities with Red Velvet."
