On April 9, Hwa Sa unveiled the music video for her playful new single, "So Cute."
The MV opens with Hwa Sa sitting in the driver’s seat of a broken-down car. It then shows her waking up in bed, playing with children in her room and bathroom, and enjoying simple, joyful moments, perfectly reflecting the song’s lively and cheerful vibe as suggested by its title. This marks her first release in approximately six months following last October’s hit "Good Goodbye."
Through her agency, Hwa Sa explained, “I have many sides to me, but I felt exhausted from only sharing intense stories until now. I wanted to express my quieter thoughts.”
As a contributor to both the lyrics and composition, she further elaborated on the inspiration behind the track. “This song began from fear. As we naturally grow older, we gain more knowledge, but sometimes we still feel childlike fears. I wanted to capture that mix of confusion and hope, expressing the feeling of moving toward a small, cute beam of light through the song.”
"So Cute" continues Hwa Sa’s evolution as an artist and offers fans a glimpse of her more playful and introspective side.
