A touching off-stage moment between Jennie and her mother at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is drawing attention online.
Recently, YouTube Shorts featured videos titled “Jennie shares emotional hug with her mom backstage” and “Jennie’s mom’s hand placement brought us to tears.” The clip captures Jennie stepping off stage after her performance, where her mother rushes toward her and quickly covers a revealing part of Jennie’s outfit with a hat.
The subtle, protective gesture moved many viewers, who responded with comments like, “Her mother seems like such a wonderful person,” and “A mom is always a mom.”
Jennie performed during the second weekend of Coachella on April 21st, once again proving her status as a performance queen. After her set, she addressed the audience with heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much for coming to my show today. I’ll never forget tonight. I love you all so much.” She also turned to her mother in the crowd and shouted in Korean, “Mom, I love you!”
