Actor Ha Jung Woo opened up about a past relationship during a recent appearance on Choo Sung Hoon’s YouTube channel.
On April 1st, a video titled “Want to come eat galbi in my room? Choo Sung Hoon♡Ha Jung Woo [Monthly Ajosshi - April Issue]” was released, featuring a candid and lighthearted meeting between the two stars.
Despite it being their first time meeting, Ha Jung Woo and Choo Sung Hoon greeted each other warmly, even holding hands with ease. Choo, clearly starstruck, shyly expressed admiration for Ha’s height and presence, saying, “You’re really cool.”
During their conversation, the two bonded over their shared experiences living in Hawaii. Ha revealed, “I live in the Waikiki area. I spend about four months a year in Hawaii,” adding that the island gives him a sense of peace and stability.
He then surprised Choo by sharing a personal memory from his first trip to Hawaii. “I first went to Hawaii in 2012. I went with my girlfriend at the time — we ended up breaking up there, at Trump Hotel,” he said with a laugh, catching Choo off guard.
Ha also revealed his real name is Kim Sung Hoon, to which Choo Sung Hoon responded with a big smile, amused that they share the same given name.
In a playful moment, Choo suggested ordering room service for his guest, even kneeling to reach a phone placed on the floor for the shoot — prompting laughter from the crew. When they remarked they’d never seen him like this before, Choo grinned and said, “I do this all the time in front of my wife.”
