FIESTAR is officially resuming activities, thanks to member Cao Lu’s passionate efforts and the overwhelming support of fans.
On April 9, Cao Lu shared the news on her social media, writing, “FIESTAR is back! After appearing together on Radio Star, we received company inquiries and signed a contract together. After hardship comes happiness. Please support us going forward.”
FIESTAR originally debuted in 2012 and received lots of love for hits like “Vista,” “You're Pitiful,” and “Apple Pie.” However, they officially disbanded in 2018, and the members each went their separate ways. Now, with the continued support and encouragement of fans, the group has reunited and recently signed an exclusive contract with Management Spring Day, marking a fresh new start.
In particular, Cao Lu deeply moved fans with her dedication to reuniting the group. While working in China's live commerce industry, she raised funds to purchase the copyright for their hit song “You’re Pitiful.” She also turned down solo contract offers, choosing instead to search for a company that would support FIESTAR as a full group, always prioritizing their reunion.
This past August, FIESTAR celebrated their 12th debut anniversary by releasing a remake single titled “You’re Pitiful (2024 Ver),” signaling their comeback. Now, with the signing to Spring Day Entertainment, they are preparing for more structured and diverse activities moving forward.
Fans have responded with heartfelt messages, saying, “Thank you so much for going to these lengths,” “Cao Lu’s passion is amazing,” and “Can’t wait to see a full FIESTAR stage again!”
