Social media posts about Kim Sae Ron’s innocence at 15 go viral among overseas netizens

Amid the growing controversy surrounding actor Kim Soo Hyun's alleged past relationship with the late Kim Sae Ron, overseas netizens have begun shedding light on her innocence when she was 15.

A video compilation showcasing Kim Sae Ron's youthful appearance at 15 has been circulating online, particularly on international social media platforms, with the caption, "She was just 15." 

This movement emerged as accusations of "grooming" against Kim Soo Hyun intensified, with a recent revelation from a YouTuber claiming the actor had been involved with Kim Sae Ron for six years, starting when she was only 15 years old.

Translation: "She was not only the age of a child, she was physically a child."

Translation: "Dude, I can't understand HOW a 30-year-old man felt attracted and wanted to date this girl. I'm terrified and very distressed about this case."

Korean netizens also are expressing outrage, with many shocked by how young Kim Sae Ron looked. One Korean netizen highlighted, "People are shocked after seeing what Kim Sae Ron actually looked like at 15, rather than just hearing the number. Since East Asians tend to look younger than other ethnicities, and Kim Sae Ron looked like a complete child, it makes it even more shocking."

This netizen added photos of Kim Sae Ron at official public appearances and shared, "Even looking at her at public appearances in 2015, she's just a child. Pedophiles needs to be sentenced to death too."
