Jeon Yeo Been and Jinyoung have been cast to star in an unpredictable romance.
Genie TV Original drama 'Ms. Incognito (working title)' (written by Hyun Gyu Ri, directed by Park Yoo Young) officially announced its casting lineup on March 31. The drama will feature Jeon Yeo Been, Jinyoung, Seo Hyun Woo, Jang Yoon Ju, and Joo Hyun Young.
'Ms. Incognito' is a crime romance drama that begins with a contract marriage between a bodyguard from a humble background and a terminally ill chaebol heir. The story follows their struggle to protect their lives from those seeking an enormous inheritance.
Jeon Yeo Been will play Kim Young Ran, a bodyguard for the owner of Ga Sung Group. Having lived a harsh life due to financial struggles, Young Ran assumes the identity of Bu Semi—a completely different person from herself.
Jinyoung takes on the role of Jeon Dong Min, a single father who raises his son alone while running a strawberry farm in the countryside. He becomes the homeroom teacher of the "perfect" Semi but is the only one wary of her.
Seo Hyun Woo will portray Lee Don, the personal lawyer of the chairman of Ga Sung Group. With his sharp intellect, he rises from humble beginnings but starts to reconsider his life after witnessing the deep-rooted nepotism and privilege in society.
Additionally, Jang Yoon Ju has been cast as Ga Sun Young, the stepdaughter of Ga Sung Group’s owner, a character with a two-faced personality. Joo Hyun Young will play Baek Hye Ji, a housemaid in the chaebol family's mansion.
The production team expressed their enthusiasm, stating, "A talented and charismatic cast has come together. This thriller will explore the unpredictability of money and desire in a materialistic society."
They also asked for viewers’ anticipation, adding, "Beyond money, the drama will offer warmth and excitement. It’s a story filled with human emotions, and we hope viewers will look forward to it."
'Ms. Incognito' is set to premiere in the second half of this year.
