BTS member J-Hope set Mexico City ablaze with his high-energy solo performance.
On March 24th at 11 PM KST, BIGHIT MUSIC released a live video of J-Hope’s ‘MONA LISA’ stage on the group’s official YouTube channel. The footage captures highlights from his solo tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’, held in Mexico City on March 23rd and 24th.
J-Hope’s ‘MONA LISA’ performance was met with explosive fan reaction. Despite the track being only three days old, the crowd sang along to every part, creating a powerful chorus of fan voices. From start to finish, the venue was filled with cheers and energy. “This stage was made by you,” J-Hope told the audience, applauding their passion.
His North American tour is seeing widespread success, with shows in Mexico City, Brooklyn, and Chicago selling out immediately after tickets went on sale.
International media also praised the performance. Consequence of Sound described his confident choreography as a showcase of “dancer J-Hope’s diverse strengths,” while HYPEBEAST noted that ‘MONA LISA’ highlighted his “bold presence” and fully demonstrated his artistry.
Meanwhile, J-Hope is set to release a ‘MONA LISA’ remix album on March 25th at 1 PM KST, which includes the original version, a band remix, and an Afropop remix.
