ILLIT bags 'Best New Artist (K-Pop)' at the 'iHeart Radio Music Awards'

Rising girl group ILLIT won the ‘Best New Artist (K-Pop)’ award at the '2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards,' held on March 17 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

This marks their first U.S. awards win in less than a year after their debut with 'Super Real Me,' continuing to make a name for themselves in the global music scene. They were also nominated for two other categories—the ‘K-Pop Song of the Year’ and ‘K-Pop Dance Challenge’—at the coveted awards with “Magnetic,” the lead single from their debut album. 

The group marked their names in global music charts since their debut, as “Magnetic” made history as the first-ever K-pop debut track to enter the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Top 100 charts. Following this feat, their second mini-album, 'I’LL LIKE YOU,' debuted at No. 94 on Billboard 200, making it their second consecutive entry on the chart.

Meanwhile, ILLIT recently released a digital single “Almond Chocolate” in both Japanese and Korean versions.
