It has been confirmed that ADOR, a label under HYBE, sent staff to Hong Kong to support the NewJeans members after the court’s decision to accept the injunction, but was unable to meet the members.

NewJeans went on stage as scheduled at ComplexCon, held in Hong Kong on the 23rd, after the court accepted the injunction to preserve the agency’s status and prohibit advertising contracts filed by ADOR against the five members on March 21st.

This event was the first official schedule that NewJeans signed directly without going through ADOR. Regarding this, the members stated, “After much thought, we decided to participate inevitably in order to not cause any harm to the fans and staff who were looking forward to the concert.”

ADOR stated, “We will take full responsibility for supporting artists in the future, as we have legally confirmed our status as an agency for New Jeans,” and added, “We will provide sufficient support on-site so that this weekend’s ComplexCon performance can be held under the name of NewJeans under ADOR.” They explained that they would send staff from Hong Kong to help NewJeans perform under their original team name, not NJZ.

However, ADOR staff were unable to meet the members on-site. It has not been confirmed which staff members accompanied New Jeans to the performance, but it has been confirmed that they were not ADOR staff.

Meanwhile, after releasing their new song that day, New Jeans stated, “Today’s stage will likely be our last for the time being. We have decided to respect the court’s decision and temporarily suspend our activities.” NewJeans continued, “I am mentally exhausted and it is difficult, but this is something we need to protect ourselves. That way, we can come back stronger,” and shed tears.

After the announcement of the temporary suspension of New Jeans' activities, ADOR stated, “We are very sorry that they pushed ahead with performances under a name other than New Jeans despite the court's decision and unilaterally declared a suspension of activities.” They added, “We will do our best for NewJeans in accordance with our valid exclusive contract. We hope to meet with the artist as soon as possible to discuss the future.”

Meanwhile, on the afternoon of the 24th, after wrapping up their concert, NewJeans arrived back in Korea via Incheon Airport.
