The first-ever D Awards wrapped up on February 22 at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium, honoring K-pop artists who made significant contributions to the industry. Hosted by Sports Donga and organized by upick and WSM, the event featured stellar performances, major category winners, and a star-studded lineup of presenters.
The awards ceremony was co-hosted by Go Min-si and Lee Jong-won, with notable presenters including Cha Seung-won, Park Sun-joo, Hwang Chan-sung, Go Kyung-pyo, Park Jin-young, and Ahn Eun-jin.
The D Awards selection process factored in online votes, music and album sales, and jury evaluations. The night featured high-energy performances and first-time stage reveals, making it a grand celebration of K-pop’s biggest stars.
