Celebrity chef Edward Lee introduced his wife and daughter to Korean fans.
On February 14, on the first episode of tvN's newest show 'Edward Lee's Country Cook,' Edward Lee arrived in Korea with his wife, Dianne, and their 11-year-old daughter, Arden.
Actor Byun Yo Han greeted chef Edward Lee and his family at the airport. When asked a playful question about who is more handsome between her father and Byun Yo Han, Arden sweetly responded, "My dad is more handsome."
Arden also shared that Jjajangmyeon (Black bean noodles) was her favorite Korean dish. Edward Lee added that aside from Jjajangmyeon, Arden also loves her grandmother's Japchae (stir-fried glass noodles).
Regarding his reason for bringing Arden to Korea, Edward Lee explained, “I love the traditional flavors of Korea, but Arden isn’t very familiar with them. Since she has Korean roots, I wanted her to learn a part of her heritage.”
Meanwhile, 'Edward Lee's Country Cook' follows the chef as he travels around South Korea with his three friends to find the taste of their "grandma's cooking." Chef Edward Lee and his crew will travel around Korea, tasting the traditional cuisine that captures the flavors of K-grandmothers' cooking in the countryside.
