AKMU has landed atop major domestic music charts with their latest project.
On April 7 KST, sibling duo AKMU (Lee Chan Hyuk and Lee Su Hyun) returned to the industry with their highly anticipated album, ‘FLOWERING.’
Immediately following its release, AKMU dominated South Korea's major real-time charts, with two songs simultaneously racing for the top spot.
The album’s title track, “Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart,” topped the Melon and Genie music charts, while the B-side “Paradise of Rumors” ranked first on the Flo and Bugs charts. The tracks reached the summit of their respective charts simultaneously on April 8 at 11 PM KST.
Other tracks from the album, including “Spring Colors” and “Sunshine Bless You,” are also currently charting within the Top 100.
‘FLOWERING’ marks AKMU’s fourth full-length album and their first music release since leaving YG Entertainment to establish their independent agency, Cemter of Inspiration.
