End of National Mourning Period: Regular entertainment programs canceled, dramas air as scheduled

On January 4th, the final day of the national mourning period, several regular entertainment programs were canceled in South Korea.

According to MBC, scheduled variety shows such as 'Show! Music Core' and 'Hangout with Yoo' will not air today. Instead, a special episode of 'Hangout with Yoo' will be broadcast. The late-night entertainment show 'Point of Omniscient Interfere' will still air at 11 PM.

KBS 2TV has canceled its variety program 'Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend' and will air reruns of the weekend drama 'Iron Family.' 

The program 'Mr. House Husband' will be aired as usual. tvN's 'Amazing Saturday' and JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' have also been canceled. JTBC will instead air reruns of the weekend drama 'The Tale of Lady Ok.'

On the other hand, dramas will air as scheduled, including the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Love Scout,' tvN’s new weekend drama 'When the Stars Gossips,' MBC’s 'When the Phone Rings' finale, KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Iron Family,' Channel A's 'Check-in Hanyang' and JTBC’s 'The Tale of Lady Ok.'
