In light of today’s tragic plane crash at Muan International Airport, ‘MBC Entertainment Awards 2024’ and many other variety shows have announced the cancellation of today’s broadcast.
Originally scheduled for today, MBC initially announced that the red carpet event for the awards show will not be aired. MBC has now followed up with a notice declaring that the awards show will not be aired either. As previously announced, MBC's variety show 'King of Mask Singer' is also canceled for today.
As for KBS, ‘Boss in the Mirror’, ‘2 Days & 1 Night’, ‘The Ddanddara’, ‘Gag Concert’ will not be airing.
JTBC’s ‘Newsroom’ featuring actor Hyun Bin and ‘Chef & My Fridge’ featuring actor Song Joong Ki will not be broadcasted.
Similarly, SBS has confirmed that ‘Running Man’ will not be airing today. In addition, SBS has expressed uncertainty about the broadcast of ‘SBS Entertainment Awards 2024’, set to occur on the 31st.
